Five Things We Want Now That Disney Owns Star Wars

Posted by Christina Cooper on March 7, 2013 at 5:45 PM Comments comments (166)

To say I'm excited for the next bundle of Star Wars movies would be a vast understatement. I've spent more class time debating myself over the thousands of plot-lines JJ Abrams might make for the latest Star Wars movie.  Below is my list of five dream movies that JJ should consider making into a major blockbuster:

1) Han Solo- Solo Movie

It isn't everyday the world survives an apocalypse, but if you've been on Facebook, Tumblr or Twitter, you know the world has survived 'the end'. The Mayans predicted the end of the world, but what they didn't take into account was one badass girl (Buffy Summers) from Sunnydale.

To put it in the Slayers' own words,"If th...

Wow. This news is horrible and dreadfully sad. Last night, as thousands of fans were enjoying the midnight premiere of Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated end to the Batman trilogy, one fan stood up and opened fire on a theater of unsuspecting moviegoers. Eye-witnesses have said that the shooter opened fire about 20 minutes into the movie, and apparently it was a very i...

I found these two awesome comics while scouring Twitter this morning.

Even with all of the controversy behind the ending of Mass Effect 3, the game is very fun and super intense. I'm only 20 hours in, and have tons of side missions, and need to finish the final missions in ord...

What do you think of The Dark Shadows trailer?

Although the trailer ma...

Zachary Quinto recently geeked out (not by choice) when he was forced to play  "rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock".  Although he said he'd never seen The Big Bang Theory (which is where the game has become somewhat wellknown because of one...

The Guild (and their awesome guest stars) amaze me!

The Guild is pretty much the only online show that I watch, and for good reason.  I'm not a gamer (I did try out WOW after watching this show.. it wasn't for me), but this show is about more than a Guild of people playing a game.  Led by the nerdy/awesome Felicia Day (you'd know her from Buffy!) The Guild has grown up from a small web...
